Paris Aéroport is committed: by 2025, Paris-Orly airport will be carbon neutral. To prove this ambition, we had to do something big, commensurate with the commitment. We transformed the entire facade of the Orly 4 terminal into the largest communication medium ever created to showcase our environmental roadmap. An evolving fresco that illustrates the airport's environmental progress in real time. Geothermal heating, electrification of the tarmac, rainwater-fed sanitary facilities, solar panels... on this 3,375 square meter work, each drawing represents a concrete action in favor of decarbonization. Deliberately unfinished on the day of its installation in 2022, the fresco will become more colorful over time, as the objectives are reached. With this monumental project, Paris-Orly is actually presenting the world with an ambitious and transparent environmental roadmap that the airport is committed to respecting.
